About Us

Bosstriper began with Bas (pronounced Boss) Vaandrager a Dutch immigrant that had a passion of fishing that was kindled by his father Johan Vaandrager who loved nothing more than sitting on the bank and fishing the day away. Bas loves catching fish and seeing others get hooked up on fish for the first time. With that drive in mind he began this Guide Service in 1995 to help others catch that same feeling he had.  Bas is also joined by is son Graham, who has deck-handed throughout his youth and is now guiding alongside him.
